It works excellent for me on Edirol FA-101 interface under Cubase 8.5. My trick is only to help people with old, good interfaces to not to kick them out to the trash if they can still work good! It should work (but doesn't have to) for all of the old firewire devices, not officially supported under OS X Sierra 10.12.6 And the apps you use all the time become even more intelligent, more personal, and more private. New features help you get what you need in the moment. It works excellent for me on Edirol FA-101 interface under Cubase 8.5. iOS 14 brings a fresh look to the things you do most often, making them easier than ever. Please understand, connection setup is different for each DAWs: Cubase has it's own, Logic, etc.Find Your way to set it up in Your DAW Some features require a compatible internet service provider fees may apply. Some features require an Apple ID terms apply. 35.5GB of available storage on macOS Sierra or later. You’ll need the following: OS X 10.9 or later.
#I upgraded from mac os 10.12.6 to 10.13.2 but my wallpaper image still show the one for sierra upgrade#
Open Your favourite DAW (I use Cubase 8.5) and setup STUDIO/VST CONNECTIONS, settings, choose your inputs and outputs, monitors, etc from the list!!! It will show You all of the previously named (in Audio Midi setup) INS and OUTS of Your old, "unsupported" firewire interface !!! If your Mac is running OS X Mavericks 10.9 or later, you can upgrade directly to macOS Big Sur. After You create setup in Audio Midi app, open Preferences and check/mark Aggregate device as Your main sound system (inputs, outputs, sound effects, etc.)Ĩ. I recommend to check which INS/OUTS are which - this is simple, You can experimentħ. OS X Sierra is not recognizing JUST the names of the INS and OUTS of your old FW card, so do it yourself, I mean just write the name of all of the INS and OUTS however You want to name it !!!. Check/click your "unsupported" firewire device in Aggregate device - it should show You the EMPTY CELLS/SQUARES in your FW device - those empty "not named" squares ARE EXACTLY INS and OUTS that Sierra doesn't want to show in Your system !!!Ħ. REMEMBER: To aggregate device You can connect as many interfaces as You want to connect together in one audio system on Your computer.ĥ. Create aggregate even if You only have that one, old firewire interface connected - this is very important. Create Aggregate device (click + under the list of your devices and check "aggregate"). Open Audio Midi application ( Applications or Utility under Applications)Ĥ. Connect an old firewire audio interface to Your mac/hackintosh (whatever You use with OS X Sierra 10.12.6 installed) using available firewire 400 or 800 ports and a FW cable.Ģ.

I’m sure I wasn’t the only one surprised when Apple showed off Dark Mode during the WWDC 2018 keynote on the Mac with macOS Mojave instead of iOS.I have just discovered, that many old firewire audio interfaces, which are "officially not supported by OS X 10.12.6 Sierra", can still work under this OS !!!ġ. For those who don’t already know, Eclipse provides a system-wide dark mode feature for iPhones and iPads.ĮclipseX’s system-wide dark mode should yield improved battery performance on the iPhone X (even if only slightly). I’ve tested and used numerous jailbreak tweaks over the years, but one of my all-time favorites has been Eclipse by iOS developer Guillermo Morán (fr0st).

So there are some Cydia Tweeks to Enable Dark Mode in IOS 12 for your iPhone & iPad, Cydia is Available for iOS 12 where Ali Security introduced the Demo Unthreaded Jailbreak for iPhone X, The popular Eclipse dark mode tweak is being prepped for iOS 12. In the meantime, there is a way using iOS 12 to get a semi-dark mode on your iPhone today through Cydia, the official Released in the Future Updates of iOS 12.
